“I-I, Blaine, I wish I knew what to say, but I just… I don’t. I’m just… I’m praying for the best. And… and I guess that’s all we can do, at this point. But I think… I think you care to much about Kurt to have… have made a mistake, at any point. He’s too… he’s the main focus of your life. Even if you thought you weren’t thinking about him, you were… somewhere back there,” Seb says, knocking softly on the back of Blaine’s head. 

“And I also think that if this guy knows what’s good for him, he’s just going to plead guilty. There’s so, so much evidence against him, even if he were to plead innocent, it just… he couldn’t get away with it. I won’t let him.” 

“What are you gonna do, Seb? He has so many connections… that’s why I couldn’t get out. He.. he’s a foster parent. And he knew that I wasn’t living at home,” Blaine explains, leaning further in Seb’s embrace. He’s suddenly cold, shudders running through him. “All it would have taken was one call and I’d have been living with him.”

The thought still sickens him and makes fear pool in his gut. Dealing with what had been happening for three days out of the week was bad enough, but thinking of what could have happened to him had Grimes had complete and total access? No. 

“I don’t want to talk about this anymore.”
