Blaine hadn’t been out of his room all day, and while Seb knew he probably wanted to be alone, he felt that isolating himself could not be the best thing right now. So when he went downstairs and discovered a plate of cupcakes left by his mom, he thanked God for the excuse to get Blaine to emerge from his cave. 

He quickly took a picture of the plate, not wanting to actually go up to Blaine’s room. That was his space, right now. 

When Blaine’s first question was whether or not they were actually both allowed just one, Seb’s hopes lifted. Maybe this would be ok. Maybe normal Blaine would reveal himself for a couple of hours. 

Less than 5 minutes later, he heard the creak of the stairs as his best friend descended them. “In the kitchen!” he shouted, waiting for Blaine to come join him at the breakfast table. 

Blaine crept down the stairs quietly. He hadn’t left the confines of his room all day, except to shower and use the bathroom and even then he went straight back to his bed. As such, he was still dressed in his pajamas and was wearing his glasses and his hair was free of its gel. The stairs creaked as he got down to the main floor and he head Seb’s yell in reaction to that. Stopping once he steps off the last step, Blaine takes a deep breath, closing his eyes and steadying himself. It’s just Sebastian. He won’t push. He won’t snap. He’s not going to hurt him. 

Once he feels he’s steady enough he ventures on, rounding the corner into the kitchen almost silently, seeing Seb already sitting at the table with the plate of cupcakes in front of him. He walks over and settles himself across from his friend, folding his hands atop the table and staring down at them.
